This beautifully preserved mid-66 (May neck date) jazz bass still retains the early dot markers with typical 66 features such as neck binding and paddle tuners. The finish is in excellent condition with only a few nicks, dings and scuffs that are difficult to photograph. No finish wear on the back of the neck. There is a “cymbal chip” in the headstock. With fresh frets and setup by the Bay Area’s legendary Hideo Kamimoto, the bass plays perfectly and sounds great. Currently strung with Fender flats. Complete with original case.
